The Asana Bina Seni exhibition is part of the Yogyakarta Biennale Foundation Program to contribute to the sustainability of the art ecosystem in this city. This program began in 2019, with the holding of curatorial and art management classes, which then continued with the Pre Biennale exhibition at PKKH Gadjah Mada University. Entering 2020, the Asana organization was added with classes for young collectives, and the exhibition no longer used the pre-Biennale theme.
